Halifax, Nova Scotia — January 6, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Zonte Metals Inc. (TSXV:ZON) (OTC:EREPF) has released a review of the past year and an outlook for 2026.
The company expressed its gratitude to shareholders for their patience and support. Zonte believes it is now entering a strong commodity price environment, with copper prices at record highs due to supply challenges and increasing demand from electrification. Gold prices are also high, reinforcing its role as a store of value.
Zonte Metals has invested over $6 million in advancing its projects. The company is focused on two main assets: the MJ Gold Project in the Yukon Territory and the Cross Hills IOCG Copper Project in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The MJ Gold Project is located in a prospective district near major deposits. Victoria Gold’s project, adjacent to the west, hosts nearly 10 million ounces in all categories, including the Raven deposit, 2 kilometers from the MJ border. Banyan Gold, to the south, hosts 7.7 million ounces. The mapped gold-fertile intrusion at MJ is larger than those associated with Victoria’s deposits. Victoria Gold is now in receivership and the bidding process is expected to close H1 2026. Initial drilling at the 2–4 Target on the MJ Project may have outlined a mineralized system. Hole MJ-03 intersected 106 meters of 0.18 g/t gold. Hole MJ-04 returned intervals of 32.02m and 29.60m grading 0.49 and 0.53 g/t Au, respectively.
The Cross Hills IOCG Copper Project is interpreted as a district-scale Iron Oxide Copper-Gold (IOCG) system. Approximately $5 million has been invested in exploration, including mapping, geophysics, and drilling. Exploration has confirmed widespread iron oxide alteration and copper mineralization. Nine large-scale targets have been identified, each at or near drill stage. The Nine Mile/K4 gravity anomaly measures approximately 3,700 meters by 3,100 meters. Drilling has confirmed copper-bearing mineralization at several targets.
In recent months, Zonte has seen increased interest from major mining companies and institutional investors. The company is evaluating financing and partnership options to create long-term value for shareholders. Zonte Metals believes 2026 could be a turning point year, with the market recognizing the progress made and the value of its projects.
