WEDEL, Germany — February 12, 2026 — Leads & Copy — TKMS and Magellan Aerospace Corporation have entered into a Teaming Agreement to strengthen industrial cooperation for Canada’s future submarine capabilities.
The agreement focuses on heavyweight torpedo production and in-service support for the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project (CPSP). The companies will jointly explore, develop, and implement cooperation related to these areas.
Michael Ozegowski, Executive Vice-President at ATLAS ELEKTRONIK, stated that TKMS and Magellan have a longstanding relationship and are developing sections of the Anti-Torpedo Torpedo, expected to be introduced in 2029. TKMS signed a contract for the design engineering phase of the final assembly facility for the Anti-Torpedo Torpedo at the Rockwood plant.
The collaboration also aims to leverage TKMS’s international customer base and projects to explore additional export opportunities for Magellan. This will utilize Magellan’s expertise in complex fabrications, design, development, manufacturing, and assembly as program requirements are finalized.
Mr. Haydn Martin, Vice President, Business Development, Marketing and Contracts at Magellan Aerospace, said the partnership builds on their collaboration with TKMS and supports the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project.
