September 4, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Terra Balcanica Resources Corp. announced that its subsidiary, Terra North Resources Corp., has received preliminary data from an airborne survey conducted over its Charlot-Neely Lake claims. The project is located 20 km north of Uranium City, Saskatchewan.
Terra North holds an option to acquire a 100% interest in the project from Fulcrum Metals Canada Ltd., subject to certain earn-in requirements. The project claims feature several historic radiometric anomalies with uranium grades up to 6% U3O8 in rock chips and readings exceeding 13,000 cps in outcrops. A 1936 drill hole, DDH-17, also intercepted significant gold values near surface. Additionally, the project claims contain over 20 strike-length kilometers of electromagnetic conductors and lineaments associated with the Black Bay Fault.
The survey covered 163.7 km2 with a 2,441-line km flight path, providing high-resolution data on multiple radiometric anomalies interpreted as potential uranium-bearing sources. Several of these anomalies are situated along prominent NE-SW trending conductors. The survey was conducted with 75-metre line spacing in the E-W direction and 1000-metre spaced N-S tie lines.
A specialized spectrometer system operated by Special Projects Inc. detected seven prominent (U, Th) radiometric anomalies after the initial N-S tie lines were flown. One of the strongest readings was observed north of Neely Lake, an area previously known to host uranium mineralization grading up to 0.8% U3O8 in outcrops.
Preliminary magnetometer data has broadly defined two major magnetic domains separated by the NE-SW striking Black Bay Fault. These domains are thought to correspond to the Paleoproterozoic crystalline basement rocks of the Beaverlodge and Zemlak Domains within the Rae sub-province. The Zemlak Domain consists of granitoid rocks, while the Beaverlodge Domain is located at the northern margin of the Athabasca Basin.
Dr. Aleksandar (Alex) Mišković, CEO of Terra Balcanica and Terra North, expressed optimism regarding the preliminary results, stating that the initial flights have revealed several promising radiometric signatures. He anticipates that the full dataset will facilitate ground truthing and drill target definition, especially given the remaining potential within Terra North’s portfolio in the Beaverlodge District. He noted the recent success of maiden drilling by Xcite on a nearby claim.
In other company news, Mr. Giulio Bonifacio has stepped down as the Non-Executive Chairman of Terra’s Board of Directors, and Mr. Brandon Bonifacio has resigned as a director. Both departures are effective immediately, with the individuals seeking to focus on other business interests.
Dr. Aleksandar Mišković, P.Geo, CEO of Terra Balcanica, is the designated Qualified Person for the company and has prepared and validated the information in this news release.
