Taseko Mines (TSX:TKO) Announces Florence Copper Progress and Gibraltar Mine Production Results

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — January 13, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Taseko Mines Limited (TSX: TKO; NYSE American: TGB; LSE: TKO) has announced updates on its Florence Copper project and 2025 production results for the Gibraltar Mine.

Construction at Florence Copper is complete, with focus now on wellfield operations and commissioning of the SX/EW plant. Wellfield acidification started in early November, and by early December, mining solutions were circulating in all new production wells within the commercial wellfield. Injection flowrates have met or exceeded expectations, leading to faster acidification. The copper grade recovered in solution has increased, reaching the required level for SX/EW plant operations. The SX/EW plant commissioning is progressing without significant issues, with operations expected to commence shortly.

Wellfield drilling has restarted with three rigs on-site to expand the commercial wellfield, supporting higher solution flows and increased copper production this year.

According to Stuart McDonald, President and CEO of Taseko, the transition from construction to early-stage operations at Florence has been smooth, with pleasing initial copper recoveries and wellfield performance. The project team is focused on starting up the SX/EW plant and achieving first copper cathode production in a few weeks.

At Gibraltar, 2025 copper and molybdenum production reached 98 million pounds and 1.9 million pounds, respectively, with sales of 99 million pounds of copper and 1.9 million pounds of molybdenum. Fourth-quarter copper production was 31 million pounds, up from previous quarters, with a copper head grade of 0.26% and recoveries of 81%. Production was affected by mill downtime due to unscheduled maintenance and a site-wide shutdown in November. Molybdenum production in the quarter was 0.8 million pounds, a 50% increase over the third quarter and the best in eight years. Gibraltar’s SX/EW plant produced 0.9 million pounds of copper cathode in the fourth quarter and continues to operate.

Mr. McDonald added that Gibraltar’s second-half production showed improvement with higher grades and better ore quality. For 2026, more consistent quarterly production is expected from the Connector pit, along with higher overall copper production.
