VANCOUVER, BC — September 8, 2026 — Leads & Copy — SUPER COPPER CORP. (CSE: CUPR) (OTCQB: CUPPF) (FSE: N60) has initiated its Phase 2 Geophysics Program at the 100%-owned Castilla Project, located approximately 90 kilometres south of Copiapo, Chile. The program includes induced polarization (IP) and resistivity surveys, designed to identify and define potential drill targets.
The IP survey follows recent drone magnetic and hyperspectral surveys that identified kilometre-scale alteration patterns, magnetic bodies, and quartz-magnetite-copper vein systems at surface. The IP program is intended to directly assess the sulphide content of these veins and their potential source.
The geophysical program comprises twelve IP lines, covering approximately 22 line-kilometres across six priority vein-hosted target areas. A deep-penetrating pole-dipole array with 50-metre dipoles will be utilized, providing resolution for steeply dipping vein structures and imaging for larger bodies of mineralization at depth. A gradient array test is also planned for the first vein target as a potential faster, lower-cost method for covering additional vein systems.
Results from the IP chargeability and resistivity surveys will be integrated with existing datasets, including a 3D magnetic vector inversion (MVI) model, hyperspectral alteration mapping, and surface sampling data. This integrated approach will be used to rank potential drill targets.
The survey is estimated to take approximately 20 days to complete, with initial results anticipated in October 2026. The program is being conducted by Argali Geofisica EIRL of Antofagasta, Chile, under the supervision of APEX Geoscience Ltd., the Company’s technical consultant.
Zachary Dolesky, CEO of Super Copper, stated that the initial phase of geophysics provided the project’s structural framework, consistent with an IOCG model. He added that the current IP phase is crucial for determining which surface vein systems connect to potential sulphide mineralization at depth. The survey is being run over six target areas simultaneously to ensure ranked, geophysically supported targets for the company’s upcoming drill program.
The survey uses a time-domain pole-dipole configuration with 50-metre dipole spacing, offering a depth of investigation of several hundred metres. Data acquisition will employ a GDD 5.0 kW transmitter and an ElRec Pro 10-channel receiver. Ground conditions are expected to be favourable for IP acquisition.
Deliverables will include apparent resistivity and chargeability pseudosections, 2D inverted sections, a 3D voxel model, and plan views at selected depths. The inverted IP data will be combined with the Company’s MVI model and hyperspectral alteration data to generate a consolidated drill-target ranking.
Scientific and technical information in this press release has been reviewed and approved by Michael Dufresne, MSc, P Geol., P.Geo., president of APEX Geoscience, a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The company notes that geophysical anomalies are not necessarily indicative of mineralization.
