Vancouver, British Columbia — January 13, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Standard Uranium Ltd. has finalized drilling and mobilization plans for the maiden drilling campaign on the Corvo Uranium Project. The company also announced the completion of a high-resolution ground gravity survey across the Project.
The Corvo Project is under a three-year earn-in option agreement with Aventis Energy Inc. Aventis has the option to earn a 75% interest in the Project by funding CAD$6M in exploration expenditures over three years, with the inaugural drill program beginning in February 2026.
Exploration teams will be mobilizing to the field in early February, ahead of schedule, for the winter drill program on the Project, situated in the eastern Athabasca Basin region.
Highlights of the finalized drill plan include:
- Approximately 2,500 – 3,000 metres planned across 8-10 drill holes, targeting shallow high-grade basement-hosted uranium mineralization.
- Skid-supported diamond drilling focused on high-priority uranium targets refined by geophysical work completed by the Company in 2025.
- Uranium target zones lie within less than 200 – 300 metres below surface.
- One diamond drill will focus on the highest-priority target area along the northern electromagnetic corridor, investigating the never-before-drilled Manhattan Showing (8.10% U3O8 at surface), coincident with modeled electromagnetic conductors for the first time.
- Aventis will be funding 100% of the program to meet the year-one expenditure requirements under the Option Agreement.
- Key contracts for the program have been secured and diamond drilling crews will mobilize to the Corvo Project in January to begin constructing Project access.
Sean Hillacre, President & VP Exploration for Standard Uranium, said that the company and its partners at Aventis are thrilled to begin drilling the targets identified along more than 29 km of structural corridors on the Project, exploring for shallow high-grade uranium mineralization. He added that the exploration thesis on the Project is directly analogous to the targeting strategies that lead to nearby discoveries in the Wollaston Domain such as the Rabbit Lake deposit and the GMZ and Ackio zones.
In late 2025, MWH Geo-Surveys (Canada) Ltd. completed a 50 m x 200 m ground gravity survey covering more than 29 km of conductive strike length. The survey, which comprised more than 5,000 individual gravity measurement stations, was designed to aid in identifying density anomalies that may represent hydrothermal alteration systems coinciding with uranium fertile EM conductor trends. MWH completed the geophysical grid in early January 2026.
The approximately 3,000-metre drill program planned for winter 2026 will mark the first drill program on the Project in more than 40 years. Drilling will target high-priority areas including the Manhattan Showing and other newly-identified radioactive occurrences across the property. Outcrop grab samples collected earlier this year returned uranium assays reaching a maximum of 8.10% U3O8 at the Manhattan Showing.
Standard Uranium believes the Project is highly prospective for the discovery of shallow, high-grade basement-hosted uranium mineralization akin to the Rabbit Lake deposit and the recently discovered GMZ and Ackio zone. Corvo boasts shallow drill targets with bedrock under minimal cover of glacial till.
Sean Hillacre, P.Geo., President and VP Exploration of the Company and a qualified person as defined in NI 43-101, has reviewed, verified, and approved the scientific and technical information contained in this news release.
Samples collected for analysis were sent to SRC Geoanalytical Laboratories in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. SRC is an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and Standards Council of Canada certified analytical laboratory. Blanks, standard reference materials, and repeats were inserted into the sample stream at regular intervals in accordance with Standard Uranium’s QA/QC protocols. All samples passed internal QA/QC protocols and the results presented in this release are deemed complete, reliable, and repeatable.
Historical data disclosed in this news release relating to sampling results from previous operators are historical in nature and have not yet been verified. The Company considers historical results to be relevant as an exploration guide and to assess the mineralization as well as economic potential of exploration projects.
Natural gamma radiation from rocks reported in this news release was measured using a handheld RS-125 super-spectrometer and RS-120 super-scintillometer. Readers are cautioned that scintillometer readings are not uniformly or directly related to uranium grades of the rock sample measured and should be treated only as a preliminary indication of the presence of radioactive minerals. Standard Uranium maintains an internal QA/QC procedure for calibration and calculation of drift in radioactivity readings through three test pads containing known concentrations of radioactive minerals.
