Vancouver, British Columbia — January 16, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Sitka Gold Corp. (TSXV: SIG) (FSE: 1RF) (OTCQB: SITKF) has released a summary of its progress in 2025, highlighting advancements at its 100% owned RC Gold Project in the Tombstone Gold Belt, Yukon Territory.
The company’s exploration and corporate efforts have propelled the RC Gold Project towards the potential delineation of a district-scale gold camp with multi-million ounce, intrusion-related gold deposits. Sitka plans to follow up on the successes of 2025 with a fully-funded 60,000-meter diamond drill program. With a treasury of over $45 million and record high gold prices, Sitka is positioned to create shareholder value in 2026 by unlocking the potential of the RC Gold Project.
2025 Highlights
Updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE): In January, the Blackjack gold deposit’s MRE grew to Indicated 1.291 million ounces of gold at 1.01 grams per tonne and Inferred 1.044 million ounces of gold at 0.94 grams per tonne, representing an increase in both average grade and contained ounces from the initial MRE published in 2023. Details can be found in the January 21, 2025, technical report.
Discovery of the Rhosgobel Gold Deposit: Drilling confirmed the third gold deposit identified to date at RC Gold. Assay results have returned significant gold values over 975 meters of strike. Assays are pending for 15 additional holes completed across the 1.1 km of mineralized strike, which remains open in all directions. An initial MRE at Rhosgobel is anticipated for Q1 of this year.
Largest Drilling Program: Approximately 32,000 meters were drilled in 91 holes across multiple targets. Visible gold has been observed in drill core from every major target drilled within the CCIC in 2025.
Strong Financial Position: Over $40 million was raised in oversubscribed, bought-deal financings.
Share Price Appreciation: A 169% share price increase in 2025 was supported by positive analyst sentiment and an active drilling program.
2026 Drill Contract: A fully-funded drill program will effectively double the total amount of drilling ever conducted at RC Gold.
Cor Coe, Director and Chief Executive Officer, was recognized as the 2025 Yukon Prospector of the Year for discovering gold resources of over five million ounces in the Yukon, including the RC Gold Project.
Cor Coe, Director and CEO of Sitka, stated that 2025 was a transformational year for Sitka, with advancements made at the RC Gold Project. He added that their approach to exploration, combined with an understanding of the gold system at RC Gold and the completion of a 32,000-meter drill program, has resulted in progress towards unlocking the potential of the project.
Sitka’s 2025 success has set the stage for 2026 with the largest exploration program ever completed on the RC Gold Project. The team has a track record of discovering three deposits to date, drill testing target areas, and identifying additional high-priority areas. With precious metals prices at record highs and a fully-funded 60,000-meter drill program, Sitka anticipates another year of advancement at the RC Gold Project.
Additional 2025 Highlights
Blackjack-Saddle-Eiger Corridor: Drilling returned mineralization outside of the resource grade shells at the Blackjack and Eiger deposits, and results at Saddle demonstrated the potential to add additional resources within the mineralized corridor.
Rhosgobel Discovery: The Rhosgobel intrusion yielded intervals of the season. Mineralization was observed in drill holes over the 1.1 km strike length of the mineralized zone tested in drilling. The zone remains open in all directions, with results for 15 holes pending. Significant visible tungsten mineralization led to additional assaying of Hole 24-02.
Contact / Pukelman Zone: Initial drilling at the Contact Zone returned results, with the Contact Zone containing the most significant metasediment hosted mineralization on the Project.
Environmental Baseline Work: Environmental Baseline studies were initiated at the Project to inform future mine permitting.
Corporate Highlights: The Board of Directors was strengthened with the addition of Angus Campbell, and the Advisory Board was strengthened with the addition of Brad Thrall. The Company completed the 2025 exploration season with no lost time injuries. Updated NI 43-101 Technical Reports were completed on the Alpha Gold Project in Nevada and Burro Creek Gold-Silver Project in Arizona.
2026 Outlook
The 2025 exploration results have increased Sitka’s confidence in the RC Gold Project’s potential. Sitka is fully funded to continue advancing the RC Gold Project with over $45 million in the treasury. Plans include continued drilling, resource updates, and exploration across targets. Sitka’s goal for 2026 is to define deposits to the stage where economic studies can begin, advance areas to the point of outlining new mineral resource estimates, and demonstrate the potential of the RC Gold Project to become a long-lived gold mining camp.
Sitka’s RC Gold Project consists of a 431 square kilometre land package in the Yukon’s Tombstone Gold Belt. The project is located approximately 100 kilometres east of Dawson City and is accessed via a secondary gravel road from the Klondike Highway.
The RC Gold Project has pit-constrained mineral resources in two zones: the Blackjack and Eiger gold deposits. These resource estimate numbers are supported by the updated technical report for RC Gold, prepared in accordance with NI 43-101 standards, entitled “Clear Creek Property, RC Gold Project NI 43-101 Technical Report Dawson Mining District, Yukon Territory”, prepared by Ronald G. Simpson, P. Geo., of GeoSim Services Inc. with an effective date of January 21, 2025. This report is available on SEDAR+ (http://www.sedarplus.ca) and on the Company’s website (www.sitkagoldcorp.com).
Both of these deposits begin at surface and are potentially open pit minable. Metallurgical testing confirmed the non-refractory characteristics of the gold mineralization and returned gold extraction rates averaging around 85%. Further metallurgical testwork in 2024 returned recoveries ranging from 77.6 to 93% for gravity followed by cyanidation. The company has completed 165 diamond drill holes for a total of 59,770 metres across the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex (CCIC), and an additional 3 holes for 858 metres in the May-Qu Intrusion.
Exploration on the Property has focused on identifying an intrusion-related gold system (“IRGS”). The property is within the Tombstone Gold Belt, which is the prominent host to IRGS deposits within the Tintina Gold Province in Yukon and Alaska.
