Sitka Gold Corp. (TSXV: SIG) Expands Gold and Tungsten Mineralization at Rhosgobel Deposit

Vancouver, British Columbia — September 8, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Sitka Gold Corp. has announced new assay results from its RC Gold Project in Canada’s Yukon Territory, further extending gold and tungsten mineralization at the Rhosgobel deposit. The results indicate that the deposit remains open along strike and at depth, with drilling continuing to intersect reduced intrusion-related gold system (RIRGS) mineralization approximately 60 metres east of previous drilling. Drilling to date has traced near-surface RIRGS mineralization across a strike length of approximately 1.6 kilometres.

Drill Hole DDRCRG-26-071 intersected 159.2 metres grading 1.14 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, including 7.3 metres of 8.89 g/t gold, within a broader interval of 256.9 metres grading 0.84 g/t gold. Additionally, Drill Hole DDRCRG-26-059 returned 43.5 metres of 1.29 g/t gold within 217.9 metres of 0.52 g/t gold. Drill Hole DDRCRG-26-061 yielded 82.0 metres of 0.75 g/t gold, including 10.4 metres of 1.03 g/t gold, within 322.0 metres of 0.50 g/t gold. Drill Hole DDRCRG-26-063 confirmed significant tungsten mineralization, intersecting 13.9 metres of 0.383% WO3 (tungsten trioxide).

The company is currently conducting a 60,000-metre diamond drilling program for 2026, with seven drill rigs in operation across various zones including Blackjack, Saddle, Eiger, Rhosgobel, Pukelman-Contact, and Bear Paw Breccia Zone. Approximately 45,000 metres of diamond drilling have been completed this year in 101 drill holes.

Cor Coe, CEO and Director of Sitka Gold, stated that the latest results from Rhosgobel underscore the deposit’s robust grade and scale. He highlighted that Hole 071’s results, along with step-out drilling from Hole 59, Hole 61, and Hole 67, continue to expand gold and tungsten mineralization well beyond the current 2.25 million ounce gold resource. Subsequent holes with pending assays have intersected significant intervals of RIRGS mineralization, including visible gold and scheelite (tungsten), further east. The Rhosgobel deposit remains open along strike and at depth, offering significant potential to increase the resource size.

The 2026 drill program aims to expand and define broad zones of Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold System (RIRGS) mineralization at the Blackjack, Eiger, and Rhosgobel deposits, while also targeting new zones such as Pukelman/Contact, Saddle, and Bear Paw Breccia. Drilling at Rhosgobel continues to intersect wide intervals of tungsten mineralization in close association with gold. Drill holes DDRCRG-26-059 and DDRCRG-26-061 represent a substantial step-out of approximately 100 metres east along strike, significantly expanding known mineralization. Drill Hole DDRCRG-26-058 targeted the downdip extension of the Rhosgobel deposit, extending mineralization approximately 150 metres deeper than the current resource in that area. Drill Hole DDRCRG-26-067, which intersected 102.2 metres of 0.57 g/t gold, including 22.1 metres of 1.03 g/t gold, represents a step-out of approximately 350 metres east of previously completed drilling.

The RC Gold Project, Sitka’s flagship property, is a 447 square kilometre contiguous land package in Yukon’s Tombstone Gold Belt. It hosts an indicated mineral resource estimate (MRE) of 1,291,000 ounces of gold and an inferred MRE of 3,829,000 ounces of gold, hosted within three surface, road-accessible pit-constrained deposits. The 2026 drill program is focused on expanding these deposits and testing other high-potential targets. Preliminary metallurgical testing has confirmed the non-refractory characteristics of the gold mineralization, with gold extraction rates averaging around 85% for Blackjack and Eiger deposits, and gold recoveries of 89% and 96% for Rhosgobel.
