Sankamap Metals (CSE:SCU) Provides Update on Audited Financials

Edmonton, Alberta — December 18, 2025 — Leads & Copy —

Sankamap Metals Inc. (CSE: SCU) is actively working to file its annual audited financial statements and management’s discussion and analysis for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2025. The company confirms it has completed a change of auditors, with related documentation filed earlier this month.

Following the completion of the audit of Sankamap’s private subsidiary, the company’s new auditor has commenced its review of the company’s files. While the transfer of files between the former and new auditors is ongoing, Sankamap understands that its new auditor has made substantial progress on the audit to date.

Sankamap expects that the majority of audit fieldwork will be completed this week and continues to provide all requested information in a timely manner to support an efficient completion of the audit. The company and its auditor are working toward completing the audit by Dec. 28, 2025.

The required filings were due by Oct. 28, 2025. Due to anticipated delays, Sankamap applied for a Management Cease Trade Order (MCTO) under National Policy 12-203 to the Alberta Securities Commission, which was issued on Oct. 29, 2025. The MCTO restricts trading by the company’s CEO and CFO in securities of the company and will remain in effect until the required filings are submitted or the MCTO is revoked.

The company expects to file its interim first-quarter financial statements shortly after the required annual filings are completed and submitted.

Sankamap intends to issue bi-weekly default status reports in the form of news releases until it meets the required filings. The company has not taken steps toward insolvency proceedings and has no undisclosed material information.

Sankamap Metals Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on discovering and developing copper and gold deposits through its Oceania Project in the Solomon Islands. Its assets are positioned along a geological trend that hosts major copper-gold deposits, including Newcrest’s Lihir Mine.

Exploration is advancing at the Kuma and Fauro properties, part of the Oceania Project. Historical work has highlighted the mineral potential of both sites. The Kuma property is believed to host an underexplored porphyry copper-gold system. Historical rock chip sampling has returned elevated gold values.

At Fauro’s Meriguna Target, historical trenching has returned encouraging results, including 8.0 meters at 27.95 g/t Au and 14.0 meters at 8.94 g/t Au. Recent sampling by Sankamap at the Kiovakase Target returned high-grade copper values, reaching up to 4.09% Cu. Limited historical shallow drilling intersected 35.0 meters at 2.08 g/t Au.

John Florek, M.Sc., P.Geol., a Qualified Person in accordance with CIM guidelines, reviewed and approved the technical content for the Oceania Project in this news release.
