TORONTO, Ontario — January 2, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Russel Metals Inc. (TSX: RUS) has finalized its acquisition of seven U.S. service centers from Kloeckner Metals Corporation for $102 million, pending standard working capital adjustments. The acquired service centers are located in Dubuque, Iowa; Charlotte, North Carolina; Suwanee, Georgia; Houston and Austin, Texas; Jacksonville and Pompano Beach, Florida.
Russel Metals, one of the largest metals distribution companies in North America, operates in three segments: metals service centers, energy field stores, and steel distributors.
The company’s network of metal service centers provides a wide range of metal products, including carbon hot rolled and cold finished steel, pipe and tubular products, stainless steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous specialty metals.
Its energy field stores focus on serving the needs of energy industry customers.
The steel distributors segment acts as master distributors, selling steel in large volumes to other steel service centers and large equipment manufacturers on an “as is” basis.
