PureWave Hydrogen Corp. (TSX-V:H2PW) Provides Default Status Report

Calgary, Alberta — January 19, 2026 — Leads & Copy — PureWave Hydrogen Corp. has issued a default status report according to National Policy 12-203 Management Cease Trade Orders.

The Corporation previously announced on December 19, 2025, and January 6, 2026, that it could not file its audited financial statements for the year ended August 31, 2025, along with the related MD&A and CEO/CFO certificates by the December 29, 2025 deadline.

The Alberta Securities Commission granted a temporary management cease trade order on January 2, 2026, which remains in effect until the Required Filings are completed and the MCTO is revoked.

PureWave Hydrogen Corp. confirms it is not subject to any insolvency proceedings. The Corporation anticipates it will be able to remedy the default by filing the Required Filings on or before February 27, 2026. The MCTO will remain in effect until the ASC has revoked it.

The Corporation also expects to meet other prescribed continuous disclosure filing deadlines and will provide updates regarding any anticipated subsequent specified defaults.

PureWave Hydrogen intends to satisfy the alternative information guidelines under NP 12-203, including issuing bi-weekly default status reports in the form of news releases.
