Vancouver, British Columbia and Johannesburg, South Africa — February 24, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Platinum Group Metals Ltd. has announced positive results from its Annual General Meeting held on February 24, 2026, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Shareholders showed strong support for the Board appointments and resolutions presented at the meeting. The meeting saw a turnout of shareholders representing 51.38% of the company’s issued shares eligible to vote.
The number of directors is fixed at six. Shareholders elected management’s six nominees as directors. Proxy voting details are as follows:
Diana Walters received 46,567,800 votes for (99.64%) and 0.36% withheld.
Frank Hallam received 46,533,711 votes for (99.57%) and 0.43% withheld.
Timothy Marlow received 46,248,374 votes for (98.96%) and 1.04% withheld.
John Copelyn received 37,387,059 votes for (80.00%) and 20.00% withheld.
Stuart Harshaw received 46,245,845 votes for (98.95%) and 1.05% withheld.
Mpho Makwana received 46,536,817 votes for (99.57%) and 0.43% withheld.
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP was re-appointed as the company’s auditor for the next year, with remuneration to be determined by the directors. The resolution passed with 99.40% of votes in favor.
The Amended Share Compensation Plan was approved by shareholders, with 78.82% of votes cast in favor, extending the plan until February 24, 2029. Shareholders also approved the Amended and Restated Deferred Share Unit Plan, with 98.11% of votes cast in favor, also extending the plan until February 24, 2029.
Platinum Group Metals Ltd. operates the Waterberg Project, a bulk underground palladium and platinum deposit in South Africa. The Waterberg Project, discovered by Platinum Group, is operated in joint venture with Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd., Mnombo Wethu Consultants (Pty) Ltd., and HJ Platinum Metals Company Ltd. on behalf of Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security and Hanwa Co. Ltd.
