Olive Resource Capital Inc. (TSXV:OC) Provides Investment Update for December 31, 2025

Toronto, Ontario — January 12, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Olive Resource Capital Inc. (TSXV: OC) has provided investors with an update on its investments for the period ending December 31, 2025.

The company’s Executive Chairman, Derek Macpherson, noted that investors are now seeing the benefits of portfolio repositioning efforts from 2022 and 2023. Olive’s assets increased by 151% in 2025, and its share price rose by 240% during the same period. Macpherson also mentioned that strong performance across the commodity complex in December contributed to a robust year-end, with assets up by 11.2% for the month.

According to Samuel Pelaez, President, CEO, CIO, and Director, December continued the trends observed throughout the year. Gold and copper prices increased significantly, with equities outperforming the commodities. However, oil prices and equities experienced a decline. For the entire year, gold led the commodity complex with a record gain of 65%, while copper saw a 41% increase. Oil prices, on the other hand, dropped for the third consecutive year, posting an 18% decrease. Pelaez added that Olive is well-positioned for the early months of the new year, which are historically associated with strong performance for the commodity complex.

As of the date of the release, Olive holds 1,000,000 common shares in treasury, pending cancellation. The company has 106,144,709 common shares outstanding.

The total value of Olive’s investment portfolio was $16,155,216 as of December 31, 2025, compared to $6,419,124 on December 31, 2024.

Valuation for publicly listed investments traded on recognized exchanges is based on closing trading prices. For private equity investments and convertible debentures, valuation is per the most recent financial statements, adjusted for interest accruals and convertibility value.

Liquid investments are defined as those that can be liquidated in less than one day’s average trading volume for that security. This measure includes cash and cash equivalents but does not include adjustments for working capital and liabilities.

Out of the Money Warrants are valued using Black Scholes with 35% volatility and a 3% interest rate. In the Money Warrants are valued at their intrinsic value.

The increase in value from December 31, 2024, to December 31, 2025, is primarily due to stock price appreciation of the investments.
