Vancouver, British Columbia — December 18, 2025 — Leads & Copy — North America Niobium and Critical Minerals Corp. has expanded its mineral property holdings in Québec with the acquisition of additional claims for the Seigneurie Property and a new exploration project in the Escoumins municipality.
These acquisitions strengthen the company’s strategic position in promising geological areas, supporting North American Niobium’s pipeline of rare-earth element and critical mineral exploration targets.
The expansion includes additional claims to the Seigneurie Property and the acquisition of a new exploration project in the Escoumins municipality. This reflects a geology-driven approach to property consolidation in areas believed to be underexplored but highly prospective.
The Escoumins project and the Seigneurie Project exhibit geological characteristics associated with REE and critical mineral systems, such as carbonatites and potassic-felsic intrusions environments.
The Seigneurie Property was initially staked following documentation from Québec’s Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles (MERN), which described a carbonatite outcrop in the project area. Carbonatites are known as primary hosts for REEs and related critical minerals.
Subsequent work at the Seigneurie Property confirmed anomalous rare-earth element values, leading to further land consolidation. The company has acquired 12 mineral claims, extending the property and increasing coverage along a 27-kilometer structural and magmatic trend.
The company plans to conduct geochemical and geophysical surveys to refine target areas, identify potential intrusive centers, and prioritize zones for follow-up exploration.
The Escoumins Property, drilled by SOQUEM in the 1970s, showed uranium and thorium-bearing granitic pegmatites. These historical drill intersections were not assayed for rare-earth elements or other critical minerals.
Pegmatitic systems enriched in uranium and thorium can be genetically linked to REE-enriched magmatic processes. The company is compiling and reviewing historical data to determine the most effective path forward for modern exploration.
North American Niobium will focus on advancing the Seigneurie Property as its near-term exploration priority, using geochemistry and geophysics to identify targets along the expanded land position. The Escoumins Property will undergo data compilation and technical assessment to evaluate its potential within the company’s critical minerals strategy.
North American Niobium is focused on acquiring and developing precious, base, and critical mineral assets. Its portfolio includes the Silver Lake property in British Columbia and a land package in Quebec’s Grenville Province. The Quebec properties include rare earth elements, niobium, and nickel-copper occurrences, expanding the company’s footprint into critical minerals for energy and defense applications.
