Newterra Resources (CSE:NT) to Acquire Ferdinand Gold Property in Red Lake Mining District

Langley, British Columbia — February 17, 2026 — Leads & Copy —

Newterra Resources Inc. (CSE: NT) has entered into an option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Ferdinand Gold property, located in the Red Lake Mining District of Ontario, Canada.

The Ferdinand Gold property spans over 15,000 acres within the Confederation-Uchi Greenstone Belt, straddling the Fry-Bamaji Deformation Zone. It is located near First Mining’s Springpole Gold project and the Kenorland/Auranova South Uchi project.

According to CEO Darren Blaney, the company is pleased to have secured the Ferdinand Gold property, citing its potential and location within a prospective geological region. Blaney noted that the property had limited historic exploration due to inaccessibility challenges, but recent logging operations have improved access. New logging roads and cutblocks may expose previously unsampled bedrock structures.

The agreement allows Newterra to acquire a 100% interest in the Ferdinand Gold property over three years. The company will pay an aggregate of $77,000 and issue 300,000 common shares of the company to Gravel Ridge Resources Ltd. and a private company owned by Perry English, the “Optionors”.

The Optionors will retain a 1.5% net smelter returns production royalty (“Royalty”). Newterra can purchase a 0.5% Royalty for $600,000, leaving the Optionors with a 1.0% Royalty. Securities issued will be subject to a hold period expiring four months and one day from their date of issuance, following CSE policies and applicable securities laws.

Newterra Resources is a gold and silver exploration company with experienced management. The company also holds a 100% interest in the Iron Horse Project near Kelowna, British Columbia.

Darren Blaney serves as CEO, President, and Director of Newterra Resources Inc.
