Monument Mining Limited (TSX-V: MMY and FSE: D7Q1) has announced its financial results for the three months ended December 31, 2025 (“Q2 FY 2026”).
Net income for Q2 FY 2026 was $20.16 million, or $0.06 per share, compared to $8.84 million, or $0.03/share, for Q2 FY 2025.
The company’s gross margin reached $31.55 million for Q2 FY 2026, marking a 173% increase from $11.54 million in Q2 FY 2025.
Cash reserves increased by $19.81 million to $82.65 million during the quarter, providing strong liquidity for future growth, according to President and CEO Cathy Zhai.
At the end of Q2 FY 2026, Monument Mining had $82.65 million in cash on hand, up from $62.84 million over the three-month period. The company’s working capital also increased by $28.04 million, reaching $86.58 million at the end of June 30, 2025.
During the quarter, the Selinsing Gold Mine in Malaysia contributed to strong cash flow and enhanced the company’s financial position, along with favorable gold prices, Zhai said.
Exploration drilling at Selinsing focused on potential mine expansion, while in Western Australia, the regulatory compliance and mine infrastructure planning have been prioritized, according to Zhai.
Production performance for Q2 FY 2026 included 10,249 ounces of gold produced, compared to 8,613 ounces in Q2 FY 2025. The company sold 13,725 ounces of gold at an average realized price of $4,197/oz, generating gross revenue of $49.23 million, compared to 8,987 ounces sold at $2,678/oz for gross revenue of $19.80 million in Q2 FY 2025.
The cash cost per ounce sold was $1,288 (Q2 FY 2025: $918/oz), primarily due to higher royalties from an increased average realized gold price. The all-in sustaining cost was $1,421 per ounce sold, an 18% decrease compared to $1,201/oz in Q2 FY 2025.
A Special Dividend was announced on December 11, 2025, with a record date of January 5, 2026, and paid out on January 19, 2026.
The sulphide flotation plant produced 10,249 ounces of gold during the quarter. A total of 224,704 tonnes of sulphide ore were processed at an improved average recovery rate of 92.49%.
Mining activities focused on Buffalo Reef and Felda Block 7. Ore mined increased by 42% compared to Q2 FY 2025. The stripping ratio reduced to 8.34, compared to 11.63 in Q2 FY 2025.
Ore processed was 32% more than in Q2 FY 2025 due to more plant availability, optimization, and improved outputs of the new filter press.
Gold sales generated revenue of $49.23 million from 13,725 ounces sold at an average realized price of $4,197 per ounce. Mining operations delivered a gross margin of $31.55 million, a 173% increase from $11.54 million in Q2 FY 2025.
Cash cost per gold ounce sold from sulphide operations was $1,288, compared with $918 in Q2 FY 2025. Net cash generated from operating activities totalled $21.90 million, an increase of $13.18 million.
The company’s cash and cash equivalents as at December 31, 2025, were $82.65 million, an increase of $36.71 million from $45.94 million as at June 30, 2025. Current assets exceeded current liabilities by $86.58 million.
Bench scale testwork was conducted using an alternative reagent for stibnite activation and new collectors for enhanced consistent gold recovery. Detailed engineering of the proposed concentrate shed extension was completed, with overall completion at 65% at the end of the quarter. A geotechnical site investigation was completed at the TSF embankments. Some HDPE pipelines were upgraded to improve slurry pump performance.
The Company finalized the scope of the Murchison Gold Project PEA and actively engaged mining and engineering consultants. A comprehensive geological database and archive review was completed, and a confirmation drilling program was prepared for the Gabanintha tenements.
Engagement with Traditional Owners continued constructively, and heritage surveys were completed. The processing plant, camp accommodation, catering, offices, and associated infrastructure were maintained in excellent condition.
The Buffalo Reef exploration drilling program progressed, targeting extensions of oxide and sulphide mineralization. By the end of the second quarter of FY 2026, a total of 4,378.1 metres had been drilled as part of the resource expansion program.
During the quarter, the Company reviewed historical resources and data at the Murchison Gold Project’s Gabanintha and Burnakura deposits.
