Magna Terra Minerals (TSXV:MTT) Announces Positive Geochemical Survey Results at Humber Copper-Cobalt Project

Toronto, Ontario — February 19, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Magna Terra Minerals Inc. (TSXV: MTT) has announced it received analytical results from a regional stream sediment geochemical survey over its Humber Copper-Cobalt Project in western Newfoundland.

The Humber Project, wholly owned by Magna Terra, covers 49,925 hectares. The stream sediment samples, collected across Blocks 1 and 2, representing 68% of the project area, aimed to assess the regional prospectivity for Sediment-hosted Stratiform Copper (SSC) mineralization. The survey complemented a recently completed airborne geophysical survey detailed in a September 18, 2025, news release.

A total of 189 stream sediment samples were systematically collected from streams accessible by roads or short traverses. Eastern Analytical Ltd. in Springdale, NL, analyzed the samples for gold and multi-element ICP.

The analysis highlighted key areas with multi-element anomalies of copper, cobalt, zinc, and lead, spatially coincident with electro-magnetic conductors identified in the airborne VTEM survey.

Cobalt values ranged from 4 to 409 ppm Co, with 5.3% of the samples assaying over 94.6 ppm. Copper values ranged from 5 to 70 ppm Cu, with 4.8% assaying over 30 ppm. Lead values ranged from 9 to 81 ppm Pb, with 4.8% assaying over 39 ppm. Zinc values ranged from 33 to 617 ppm Zn, with 4.8% assaying over 220 ppm. Gold values ranged from less than 5 to 17 ppb Au, with 7.9% exceeding the 5 ppb detection limit.

Clusters of elevated copper, cobalt, lead, and zinc values were found, particularly in the northwestern quadrant of Block 1, where anomalous stream sediment samples align with conductive shale/slate sequences and anomalous cobalt lake sediment sample sites. The shale/slate units are considered ideal hosts for SSC mineralization. The stream sediment data analysis identified targets with a cumulative area of 5,588 hectares.

The company intends to complete the survey over the remaining project area as part of its exploration plans commencing in the spring.

Project highlights include the discovery of 2.2 km of surface copper mineralization at Hughes Lake, with potential for an additional 1.7 km of strike extent. The project also hosts regionally anomalous copper, cobalt, silver, lead, gold, molybdenum, arsenic, and antimony lake sediments. Airborne conductors are coincident with lake sediment anomalies along the 8+ km Hughes Lake Copper-Cobalt Trend.

The project is analogous to the Kalahari Copper Belt, the Central African Copper Belt, and the Kupferschiefer Belt in Poland.

Globally, SSC deposit types account for 20% of copper production and 60% of cobalt production. The district-scale land package comprises 49,925 hectares and benefits from year-round accessibility and road access. The company acquired the project through staking without underlying royalties or option payments.

According to Lew Lawrick, President and CEO of Magna Terra Minerals Inc., the stream sediment sampling results continue to generate multiple coincident geochemical and geophysical targets and zones of copper-cobalt mineralization on the broader property package. The tenor of cobalt, copper, lead, and zinc in stream sediments outlines targets coincident with airborne conductivity, supporting the view that the Humber Project has the potential to host SSC deposits.

The company is awaiting the results of 821 soil samples collected along strike of the 2.2 kilometer long zone of copper mineralization discovered at the Hughes Lake Trend. These results will be released in an upcoming press release.

The project is underlain by sedimentary rocks of the Humber Arm Allochthon and adjacent plutonic and volcanic Hughes Lake Complex, centered on anomalous lake sediment samples showing regionally elevated levels of cobalt, silver, lead, copper, arsenic, molybdenum, and gold.

Analysis indicates that the metal suite present within the Project area is likely related to a black shale source. This metal signature and geological environment support the area being host to SSC deposits. SSC deposits host 60% of global Cobalt production and 20% of global Copper production in deposits such as the Central African Copper Belt. The exploration potential is underscored by the presence of base metal deposits nearby including the York Harbour and Daniels Harbour Deposits located at lower stratigraphic levels of the region.
