Liberty Defense to Showcase Revolutionary HEXWAVE™ I-Configuration at GSX 2026 (NASDAQ:DETX)

WILMINGTON, Mass. — September 8, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Liberty Defense Holdings Ltd. (“Liberty” or the “Company”), a provider of AI-based detection solutions for concealed weapons and threats, announced it will publicly debut its HEXWAVE™ I-Configuration at GSX 2026 in Atlanta from September 14 to 16.

The I-Configuration is designed for individuals to walk up to a single panel, rotate briefly, and continue past. This full-body capture allows one panel to perform the function typically requiring a multi-panel system, making it suitable for doorways, hallways, and other entrances where space is limited.

“The I-Configuration gives security operators a new level of flexibility in how they design and implement their security screening operations without sacrificing detection capability,” said Bill Frain, CEO of Liberty Defense. “We listened to customers who wanted the breadth of detection that HEXWAVE provides but needed a solution that could fit into the physical constraints of their facilities. The I-Configuration is our response.”

The introduction of the I-Configuration comes as the list of prohibited items continues to expand beyond the capabilities of traditional metal detectors. In a recent evaluation, the HEXWAVE S-Configuration was used to support enforcement of a major sporting venue’s prohibited items list across approximately 2,000 individuals over three consecutive nights at a busy public entrance. Supervisors observed attendees leaving the line once they saw items being removed from pockets, and others discarding items before proceeding.

“What I didn’t expect was the supervisors pulling us aside to talk about the people who walked away before they ever got to us,” said Scott Brown, Senior Service Manager at Liberty Defense.

HEXWAVE utilizes millimeter wave technology and 3D video-rate imaging to detect both metallic and non-metallic threats concealed on individuals. Its AI and deep learning algorithms provide automatic threat detection. The system does not store images or capture personal information.

Liberty Defense will showcase both the S-Configuration and the I-Configuration at booth 4268 in Halls B1-B5. Attendees can witness the I-Configuration in action, discuss evaluation findings, and schedule appointments by contacting sales@libertydefense.com.

Liberty Defense provides multi-technology security solutions for concealed weapons detection in high-traffic areas and sensitive locations such as airports, stadiums, and schools. The Company’s HEXWAVE product, which Liberty has an exclusive license for from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a technology transfer agreement for related active 3D radar imaging technology patents, offers discrete, modular, and scalable protection. Liberty has also licensed millimeter wave-based High-Definition Advanced Imaging Technology (HD-AIT) body scanner and shoe scanner technologies. The company is committed to enhancing community safety and peace of mind through advanced security detection solutions.
