Klondike Gold (TSXV:KG) Announces Initial Phase 3 Drilling Results from Lone Star Zone

VANCOUVER, BC — January 7, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Klondike Gold Corp. has announced the initial results from its Phase 3 drilling program conducted in 2025 at the Lone Star Zone, part of its 100%-owned Klondike District Property near Dawson City, Yukon, Canada.

The company’s 2025 Phase 3 drilling involved 16 new holes totaling 2,803 meters, targeting the Lone Star, Stander, and Eldorado Creek areas. Results from the first seven holes, which tested the Lone Star Zone, are now available. Assays from the remaining nine 2025 drill holes, along with assays from a 2022 drill hole, are pending.

The seven-hole drill program at Lone Star aimed to identify northwest, southeast, and depth extensions within and adjacent to the near-surface mineral resources outlined in the company’s November 10, 2022, Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The drilling was based on a key recommendation from the MRE to explore the continuity of high-grade gold vein sub-domains within the MRE areas.

Since the 2022 MRE report, Klondike Gold has conducted structural mapping and core relogging, which have reshaped the company’s 3-D models of lithology, structure, and mineralization. This work has helped identify higher-grade vein sub-domains that exhibit coarse visible gold, as seen at the Lone Star, Stander, and Gay Gulch Zones.

Highlights from the news release include:

Six holes from the 2025 Phase 3 program intersected high-grade gold veining within a low-grade gold envelope on the boundary or outside the Lone Star Zone MRE extents. All six holes intersected significant mineralization, indicating that the mineralization extends to the northwest, southeast, and to depth.

Specific drill hole results include:

  • LS25-567: 7.77 g/t Au over 1.0m within a zone averaging 0.48 g/t Au over 30.5m, and 28.67 g/t Au over 0.5m within a zone averaging 0.98 g/t Au over 35.5m.
  • LS25-568: 1.68 g/t Au over 9.0 m and 23.74 g/t Au over 1.0m within a zone averaging 2.57 g/t Au over 12.50m.
  • LS25-569: 11.71 g/t Au over 0.5m within a zone averaging 0.48 g/t Au over 45.5m.
  • LS25-570: 0.81 g/t Au over 22.0 m.
  • LS25-571: 0.37 g/t Au over 48.8m including 1.84 g/t Au over 5.5m, and 0.58 g/t Au over 48.0m.
  • LS25-572: 0.75 g/t Au over 63.5m including 19.17 g/t Au over 1.0m.

Peter Tallman, President and CEO of Klondike Gold Corp., stated that the company is pleased with the Lone Star drill hole results. He added that the drilling confirmed the structural/stratigraphic understanding of mineralization continuity and will allow for targeted step-out drilling along strike and to depth. Tallman also mentioned that the company expects the preparatory work of Phase 1 structural drilling and Phase 2 relogging and new geology work to continue paying off in future results.

Klondike Gold is planning an early 2026 follow-up drill campaign in collaboration with Kluane Drilling of Whitehorse, YT. The goal is to commission an updated mineral resource estimate that includes all drilling results from 2022 onward.

Drill core samples are analyzed at MSA labs in Prince George, British Columbia, using Photon Assay. The samples are also analyzed for a multi-element ICP package at MSA Labs in Langley BC.

All drilling reported in the release was completed by Kluane Drilling from Whitehorse YT.
