Toronto, Ontario — March 3, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Kirkland Lake Discoveries (TSXV: KLDC) (OTCID: KLKLF) has finalized its acquisition of the Mirado Gold Project, according to a news release. The acquisition was initially announced on December 18, 2025.
KLDC secured a 100% undivided interest in the Mirado Property’s mineral claims, free of liens and encumbrances, through a purchase agreement with Orecap Invest Corp. The terms of the deal, initially agreed upon on December 16, 2025, involved KLDC issuing 40,582,767 common shares, valued at $0.215 each, to Orecap.
These shares represent 19.9% of KLDC’s issued and outstanding common shares after the acquisition. They are subject to a statutory four-month hold period expiring on July 3, 2026, along with a 12-month contractual lock-up period. No finder’s fees were paid.
Stefan Sklepowicz, CEO of KLDC, emphasized the importance of the acquisition, stating it allows the company to aggressively test high-priority targets and expand the deposit’s known footprint. He expressed eagerness to commence drilling at KL South, aiming to demonstrate the area’s significant exploration potential.
Kirkland Lake Discoveries has assembled a 400-km2 exploration portfolio in Ontario’s Abitibi Greenstone Belt. The Company’s properties span key fault zones, geophysical anomalies, and volcanic-sedimentary contacts within the Blake River Group.
KLDC has initiated a 25,000m drill program following up on drill-ready targets at its KL West site, building on drill results from Summer 2025.
