TORONTO, Ontario — January 7, 2026 — Leads & Copy — IsoEnergy Ltd. has announced a bulk sample program at its Tony M uranium mine in Utah, a step toward a possible production restart.
The bulk sample program aims to gather technical, operational, and economic data to inform a potential production restart decision at the Tony M mine. The mine is one of the few fully permitted, past-producing conventional uranium mines in the United States.
The program involves extracting up to 2,000 tons of mineralized material over 12–14 weeks. The extraction commenced in late December 2025. GenX Mining Contractors, LLC of Spring Creek, Nevada, will provide contract mining services.
The mineralized material will be transported to the White Mesa Mill in Utah, owned by Energy Fuels Inc., for processing.
IsoEnergy believes Tony M provides an opportunity to advance a permitted, infrastructure-ready uranium mine toward potential restart, without mill construction or major permitting. The company believes this is especially important with U.S. utilities focused on securing domestic uranium supply, and limited near-term production capacity available.
The bulk sample is a step in defining the scope and economics of a future production plan at Tony M, aligning with U.S. federal initiatives to rebuild domestic nuclear fuel supply chains and enhance energy security.
IsoEnergy expects to evaluate the results of the bulk sample alongside optimization studies. This will help determine next steps, such as detailed mine planning, finalizing restart sequencing, and assessing the timing of a potential production decision.
The Bulk Sample is designed as a decision gate toward potential restart of the mine. It is a low-risk, limited-scope program structured to generate mining, processing, and cost data to evaluate a potential restart decision. Results are expected to inform mine planning, sequencing, and commercial production assumptions.
The program will establish contract mining costs and validate assumptions used in economic models. It will also refine mineral material-control strategies to minimize dilution and maximize delivered grade, including testing dilution-control techniques.
The existing toll milling agreement provides a processing pathway. Mineralized material will be processed at the White Mesa Mill, eliminating the need for new mill construction and reducing capital intensity and execution risk. This enables IsoEnergy to focus capital and effort on mine restart and optimization rather than downstream infrastructure.
The program will also trial ventilation, ground-control, and underground operating procedures ahead of full-scale mining.
IsoEnergy CEO and Director Philip Williams said the bulk sample at Tony M is a milestone in advancing one of the few restart-ready uranium mines in the United States. He added that the program is designed to generate the data needed to evaluate a potential full scale production restart under current market conditions.
During 2025, IsoEnergy advanced initiatives designed to strengthen the operating and economic profile of Tony M. These include reducing the uranium production royalty on the Utah Trust Lands Administration (SITLA) lease from 8% to 3%, High-Pressure Slurry Ablation testing, mineralized material-sorting testwork completed in October, and an enhanced evaporation study.
The Tony M Mine is located in eastern Garfield County, Utah. Uranium and vanadium mineralization at the Tony M mine is hosted in sandstone units of the Salt Wash Member of the Jurassic age Morrison Formation.
The company has a current mineral resource estimate of 1,185,000 tons Indicated, at 0.28% eU3O8, containing 6,606,000 lbs. eU3O8 and 404,000 tons Inferred, at 0.27% eU3O8, containing 2,218,000 lbs. eU3O8.
