Honey Badger Silver Inc. (TSXV: TUF) Unveils 2026 Exploration Program at Nanisivik Project, Highlighting Critical Mineral Potential

Toronto, Ontario — September 4, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Honey Badger Silver Inc. (TSXV: TUF) (OTCQB: HBEIF) (FSE: 1QA) (Tradegate: 1QA) announced details of its 2026 field exploration program at its wholly-owned Nanisivik Project on Baffin Island, Nunavut. The program focused on substantiating the project’s potential to host economic zones of silver-bearing mineralization, while also considering the presence of zinc, lead, and critical minerals like germanium.

Chad Williams, Executive Chairman and Interim CEO, highlighted the renewed interest in Nanisivik due to the recent rise in sulphur prices and the strategic importance of critical minerals such as germanium, which were not a focus during the mine’s historical operation from 1976 to 2002.

The 2026 field program, managed by APEX Geoscience and overseen by Honey Badger Silver, was designed to advance two key opportunities: the documented massive-pyrite system and additional silver-zinc-lead mineralization with critical-mineral potential located outside the historic mined zones. The team collected samples of massive pyrite, sphalerite, galena, and other potentially mineralized materials from both float and outcrop across multiple zones on the property.

Samples have been submitted to an independent accredited laboratory for multi-element geochemical analysis. The Company anticipates that the results will provide valuable information on the composition of the pyrite-rich mineralization and aid in evaluating the potential for germanium and other critical elements. Upon receipt of the analytical results, Honey Badger Silver will integrate this new data with historical geological, geochemical, and geophysical information to refine its understanding of the Nanisivik mineralized system. This will inform decisions regarding further analytical work, metallurgical testing, and potential future exploration programs, including drilling.

The Nanisivik Mine, which operated until 2002, produced approximately 17.9 million tonnes grading 9% zinc, 0.7% lead, and 35 g/t silver. Historical publications also indicate the presence of an estimated 50–100 million tonnes of massive pyrite mineralization within the South Boundary and North Pyrite zones. Honey Badger Silver is exploring this extensive sulphide system for germanium and other critical minerals that were not systematically evaluated during historical mining operations.

Recent prospecting at the Area 14 Target returned grab samples grading up to 249 g/t silver and 51.5% zinc, and geophysical surveys have identified new conductors away from the former mine site. Assays for the new samples of massive pyrite and prospective polymetallic mineralization are pending and represent a potential near-term catalyst.

The company also issued an erratum correcting a previous disclosure from August 27, 2026, regarding historical drill results from the Yava Main Zone. The gold grade for drill hole DH Y-74-01 was incorrectly reported as 0.54% and has been corrected to 0.54 g/t gold.

Honey Badger Silver is a North American silver and critical minerals company with a portfolio of eight silver mineral projects across the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut. The company also holds over 10,000 ounces of physical silver.
