Toronto, Ontario — March 5, 2026 — Leads & Copy — HEALWELL AI Inc. (TSX: AIDX) (OTCQX: HWAIF) has secured a multi-million dollar, multi-year Health Information Exchange (HIE) software contract in the U.S., the company announced today.
The contract, awarded after a competitive procurement process, will expand HEALWELL’s presence in the U.S. healthcare market. It will support the secure exchange of healthcare data for millions of patients, connecting hospital systems, clinics, laboratories, public health agencies, and community providers across a U.S. state.
HEALWELL was selected based on its ability to deliver large-scale HIE infrastructure, manage complex healthcare data environments, and execute at state and nationwide scale, with integrated AI capabilities, according to the company. This contract win followed a coordinated bid effort across the company’s Orion Health and VeroSource businesses.
The platform will aggregate and normalize clinical data from disparate systems, delivering timely admission, discharge, and transfer alerts, lab results, care summaries, and other critical records directly into provider workflows. This will improve care coordination, reduce duplication, support population and public health reporting, and ensure clinicians have a more complete view of a patient’s health history at the point of care, according to the company.
HEALWELL’s software division is also experiencing strong momentum across its software pipeline, including renewals, extensions, and bidding on new opportunities in Canada, the Middle East, Europe, and other core markets, the company said. This supports recurring revenue visibility and long-term customer relationships.

This builds on recent deployments and success stories, including HEALWELL’s first AI contract with a major governmental health system in the Middle East; active deployments of SMART Identify in the United States, and deployment of SMART Search and SMART Summary in a provincial healthcare system in Canada.
HEALWELL continues to pursue larger procurement opportunities through coordinated bids that leverage capabilities across its software portfolio.
