CALGARY, AB — December 17, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Genesis Land Development Corp. (TSX: GDC) has contracted to sell a 40% ownership stake to two Alberta-based home builders in the Genesis Hazel development project for gross proceeds of $19.1 million.
The Hazel project, located in the southeast Calgary area structure plan of Hotchkiss, contains 160 acres of residential development land. The area is planned to yield approximately 1,200 homes when fully developed. Genesis has already received land use and outline plan approvals from The City of Calgary for this project and has started land development.
In addition to a pro rata participation in the profits and losses of the Hazel development, each purchaser and Genesis Builders Group Inc. will have preferential access to residential building lots in Hazel. The sale transactions are scheduled to close on December 17, 2025.
