Edgemont Gold (CSE:EDGM) and Laiva Gold Extend Merger Deadline

Vancouver, British Columbia — March 2, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Edgemont Gold Corp. and Laiva Gold Inc. have amended their merger agreement, extending the deadline for the reverse takeover transaction to April 15, 2026.

The companies also extended the maturity date of the bridge loan advance from Edgemont to Laiva to the same date.

Edgemont has submitted its application to the Canadian Securities Exchange for approval of the transaction. Both Edgemont and Laiva anticipate providing materials to their shareholders for approval.

Upon completion of the transaction, Edgemont will indirectly own the Laiva Mine in Finland, an open-pit operation equipped with a 6,000-tonne-per-day gold plant. Following the transaction, the company plans to acquire additional assets to build a multi-asset mining company.

The transaction is subject to approval by the Canadian Securities Exchange and other closing conditions.
