Dixie Gold (TSXV:DG) Expands Ontario Mining Claims with Pickle Crow East Gold Project

February 12, 2026 — Leads & Copy —

Vancouver, British Columbia – Dixie Gold Inc. (TSXV: DG) has successfully expanded its mining claim holdings in Ontario, securing additional tenure contiguous to its previously announced claims. The new claims, acquired through the Government of Ontario’s Mining Lands Administration System (MLAS), form the basis of the newly assembled Pickle Crow East Gold Project.

Dixie Gold funded the claim acquisitions for the Pickle Crow East Gold Project through existing working capital. Ryan Kalt, Chief Executive Officer of Dixie Gold, anticipates increased exploration and market attention in the Pickle Crow gold camp following the closing of the FireFly Metals and Bellavista Resources transaction. He believes Dixie Gold’s compelling project footprint positions the company favorably in what could become a highly active gold district.

The Pickle Crow East Gold Project adds to Dixie Gold’s presence in the Uchi Subprovince, where it also holds the Red Lake Gold Project adjoining a Kinross Gold Corp. project. Dixie Gold has invested approximately $1 million in field exploration in the subprovince, providing valuable experience.

Dixie Gold’s move near the Pickle Crow Mine Project mirrors its early activity near the Great Bear Project. Recent corporate activity and exploration results near the historic Pickle Crow gold mine have prompted Dixie Gold to secure a prominent adjoining project. Additional area was acquired when it reopened on February 9, 2026. Those management-led efforts were further complimented on that same day (once the strategic reopening had occurred) by an incremental on-trend regional position, as well as targeted mining claims staked on February 10, 2026.

The Pickle Crow East Gold Project consists of approximately 256 claims covering approximately 5,147 ha and is adjacent to the Pickle Crow Mine Project.

The project was directly acquired by the Issuer through staking and it is royalty free (save those due to the Crown). The Pickle Crow East Gold Project will be in good standing through to February 2028, pending customary Crown approvals, and thereafter subject to assessment work.

Limited bedrock exposure in the area may have hindered earlier exploration efforts. Dixie Gold believes that advances in sub-surface exploration technologies and a better understanding of gold-bearing host rocks create new opportunities. The company sees potential similarities to its experience in the Red Lake gold camp, where gold was found in unconventional rocks.

The Pickle Lake greenstone belt, home to the historic Pickle Crow mine, is part of the Uchi Subprovince, a region known for gold occurrences and past-producing mines. The Uchi Subprovince also includes the Red Lake gold district. The Pickle Lake belt is composed of supracrustal rocks intruded by granitoid plutons and enveloped by granitoid batholiths. It is divided into distinct assemblages separated by major structural features that influence the localization of gold deposits.

Historically, gold in the Pickle Lake greenstone belt has been associated with quartz veins. Recent discoveries have identified gold occurrences in a broader range of rock groups, presenting underexplored potential for future discoveries. This evolving understanding of gold settings shares similarities with the rethinking of potential gold deposition settings elsewhere in the Uchi Subprovince.

The Pickle Crow East Gold Project is underlain by metavolcanic rocks and multi-kilometric iron formations. Dixie Gold has identified two immediate areas of interest: an area in the southwest of the project closest to the historic Pickle Crow gold mine, and a northeast trending iron formation setting. Historical drill records confirm promising preliminary results, including the presence of chert-sulphide iron formation intercepts accompanied by massive pyrrhotite, pyrite, sericite and vein quartz.

An interpreted felsic intrusion and a fold axial plane also present a novel near-mine exploration area. The proximity of these features to mapped iron formations enhances the potential.

Like the adjoining Pickle Crow Mine Project, Dixie Gold’s Pickle Crow East Gold Project follows a southwest-northeast direction, aligning with the area’s broader geological structures.

The Pickle Crow gold mine, located within the Pickle Crow Mine Project, produced 1.5 million ounces of gold at an average grade of 16 g/t gold. The remaining Pickle Crow deposit has an inferred resource of 2.8 million ounces at 7.2 g/t gold (reported in accordance with the JORC Code 2012). Dixie Gold cautions that JORC Code 2012 estimates do not comply with NI 43-101 and should not be relied upon.

The past production and scale of the adjoining Pickle Crow Mine Project, combined with an emerging appreciation of host rock settings for gold in the area brings significant potential for Dixie Gold at this exciting new project. Dixie Gold has identified multiple mapped iron formations that may present banded iron formation target settings.

The Issuer aims to advance its new Pickle Crow East Gold Project as appropriate exploration funding presents and as market interest facilitates. In the ordinary course, Dixie Gold may acquire additional claims for its Pickle Lake East Gold Project, beyond those described herein, to supplement the project.

Antonio Carteri, P.Geo., a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical information in this release.
