Vancouver, BC — December 18, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. (CiTech) has expanded its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Babcock International Group to co-develop and build a rapidly deployable platform. The platform will integrate 5G communications, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) capabilities for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as all of Europe and Southeast Asia.
CiTech, a developer of autonomous, high-capacity mobile communications platforms, initially signed the MOU with Babcock at the DSEI (Defence and Security Equipment International) expo in London in September 2025. The original agreement focused on fulfilling the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence’s request for 50 of CiTech’s Nexus 20 platforms.
The increased scope of the MOU now includes all of Europe and Southeast Asia, citing significant opportunities for the Nexus 20 platform in these regions.
CiTech CEO Brenton Scott said the expansion of collaboration with Babcock is exciting and he looks forward to promoting the Nexus 20 in the added regions. He added that the first Nexus 20 is due to arrive in the EU in April 2026 for regional demonstrations, and he is confident about 2026.
