TORONTO, January 14, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Cineplex’s popular $5 Tuesdays are making a comeback starting January 20, offering Canadians a budget-friendly entertainment option until February 24, 2026.
For six weeks, moviegoers can enjoy general admission tickets and a small bag of popcorn for just $5 each, plus tax. This promotion provides an opportunity to escape the winter chill and share the cinematic experience with others.
Cineplex offers a date night package that includes popcorn and a movie for two at an in-theatre price of $20. Families can also take advantage of the deal, with a family of four able to enjoy a movie for $40.
Tickets can be purchased at the theatre or online, where general admission tickets are priced up to $6.50 each, plus tax, including an online booking fee of up to $1.50, plus tax. This offer excludes tickets purchased before January 14.
Guests have the chance to rewatch favorites, discover new films, or explore premium experiences like UltraAVX or VIP by paying an additional surcharge per ticket.
Scene+ members can save even more with an additional 10 percent off Tuesday tickets, a reduced online booking fee of $1.00, plus tax, and the chance to earn points on every purchase.
