Cartier Resources (TSXV:ECR) Reports 2025 Achievements and Outlines 2026 Plans

VAL-D’OR, Quebec — January 13, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Cartier Resources Inc. (TSXV: ECR; FSE: 6CA) has released its 2025 accomplishments and outlined its plans for 2026, emphasizing its focus on gold and enhancing shareholder value through exploration and development in a key Canadian mining region.

The company’s flagship Cadillac Project is at the forefront of its strategy, leveraging strong technical expertise and a history of successful exploration to drive progress. Looking ahead, 2026 is anticipated to be another pivotal year as the company focuses on re-evaluating Cartier’s valuation through continued strong drill results, artificial intelligence targeting, and key study deliveries.

In 2025, Cartier Resources restructured its management team, secured significant funding, optioned three properties to Exploits Discovery Corp. (CSE: NFLD), launched a 100,000-meter diamond drill program, launched a new website and increased marketing efforts, awarded two major technical pillars to high-level independent engineering firms, reached above $100M CAD market capitalization and delivered a significant Gold Resource Growth at Cadillac.

The option agreement with Exploits Discovery Corp. (CSE: NFLD) grants Exploits the right to earn 100% interests in the Wilson, Fenton, and Benoist properties over a four-year period. To secure this interest, Exploits is required to pay Cartier $1,750,000 in cash, issue 9,250,000 common shares of Exploits to Cartier, and invest at least $12,250,000 in expenditures on the properties.

The 100,000-metre diamond drill program is the company’s most ambitious to date, designed to demonstrate the Cadillac Project’s potential as an emerging mining camp. The program is on schedule and within budget, with reported high-grade results consistently expanding known zones and bolstering confidence in the resource.

Metallurgy and environmental baseline studies, which were awarded to independent engineering firms, will support the entire project moving forward.

The Cadillac project saw a significant gold resource growth, reporting 9,953,000 tonnes at a grade of 2.40 g/t Au for 767,800 ounces Measured and Indicated, a 7% increase, and 35,185,000 tonnes at a grade of 2.14 g/t Au for 2,416,900 ounces Inferred, a 48% increase. (Refer to press release dated December 18th, 2025).

The company will begin testing a suite of artificial intelligence targets, enhancing the precision and technological advancement of its exploration strategy. Metallurgy and environmental baseline studies are expected in Q2 and Q3 of 2026, providing crucial data for upcoming engineering decisions. The company also plans to run new iterations and model simulations on the updated resource, incorporating a strengthened gold price into the next scoping study for the entire project.

Philippe Cloutier, President and CEO of Cartier, expressed his gratitude to the Cartier team, exploration partners, and consultants for their dedication in completing the 2025 work program. He anticipates 2026 to be another active year as the company advances the Cadillac Project. Ronan Deroff, Vice President Exploration of Cartier, noted that 2025 significantly advanced the geological understanding and growth potential of the Cadillac Project, with the first 20,000 metres of drilling delivering strong results, particularly in the North Contact Zone.
