Vancouver, British Columbia — January 9, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Brasnova Energy Materials Inc. (TSXV: BEM) has announced the appointment of Mr. Joel Ferari as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Ferari will also join the Company’s Board of Directors, pending approval from the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV).
Mr. Ferari brings to the role decades of experience as a Brazilian business professional and entrepreneur. His background includes working with startups and developing industrial process plants and services in Brazil.
With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Ferari has worked on projects focused on the startup phase, including the construction of plants on budget, planning and guidelines, technical parameters, negotiation with national and international suppliers, hiring of staff, and implementation and assembly of industrial equipment. He holds degrees in both Materials and Production Engineering.
In connection with his appointment, Brasnova will issue Mr. Ferari 500,000 common share options at a price of 15 cents, with a five-year term. This issuance is subject to approval of the stock option plan at the next AGM and TSXV Venture Exchange approval.
Mr. Brian Leeners will be stepping down from his roles as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Brasnova. The Company expressed its gratitude to Mr. Leeners for his years of service.
