Boyd Group Services Inc. (TSX:BYD) Finalizes Acquisition of Joe Hudson’s Collision Center

WINNIPEG, MB — January 9, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Boyd Group Services Inc. (TSX: BYD) (NYSE: BGSI) has finalized its acquisition of Joe Hudson’s Collision Center, initially announced on October 29, 2025. The acquisition brings 258 new locations in the U.S. Southeast, increasing Boyd’s footprint by 25% to a total of 1,301 locations across North America.

The company anticipates that this expanded scale and regional density will improve profitability through cost synergies and accelerate the achievement of previously announced goals.

According to Brian Kaner, President and CEO of Boyd, the acquisition solidifies Boyd’s position in the North American collision industry. He noted Joe Hudson’s operational track record, growth, and regional footprint align with Boyd’s strategy and focus on operational excellence.

Kaner added that the Joe Hudson’s team’s execution and cultural alignment will strengthen the combined organization. He said that together, they are positioned to build on their track record of growth and profitability.

Kaner also noted that progress made through Project 360, a cost transformation plan, has strengthened operating foundation and profitability. Enhancements to the go-to-market strategy have supported a pipeline of strategically located start-up locations, while the expansion of the WOW Operating Way has enabled the Company to outperform the market.

The total transaction consideration is approximately US$1.3 billion, subject to adjustments. Funding came from a U.S. equity offering of US$897 million, a private placement of C$525 million of senior unsecured notes due 2030, and drawings on the company’s revolving credit facility.
