Boron One Holdings Inc. Begins Seasonal Field Exploration at Jarandol Basin in Serbia (TSXV:BONE)

VICTORIA, BC — September 8, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Boron One Holdings Inc. (TSXV:BONE) has initiated its seasonal field exploration program at the Jarandol Basin license area in Serbia, according to a company announcement. The Jarandol Basin License, spanning 21 square kilometers, is adjacent to Boron One’s Piskanja borate deposit and is wholly operated by its subsidiary, Balkan Gold d.o.o.

This season’s exploration activities are designed to test identified high-value drill targets for potential boron content within the basin. The program includes geological mapping at a 1:2,500 scale, collection of 75 soil samples, the excavation of 3 trenches yielding 33 trench samples, drilling of 4 holes totaling approximately 1,400 meters, and the collection of 120 core samples and 65 petrographic samples.

Previous exploration by Balkan Gold has indicated that the Jarandol Basin may host extensions of the Piskanja boron deposit, as well as the Pobrdje boron mine, which is located 2.5 kilometers away on the opposite end of the basin. Both the Piskanja and Pobrdje deposits currently remain unbounded towards the basin’s center. Additionally, the basin holds potential for the discovery of new, independent boron deposits.

The Jarandol Exploration License, secured in April 2024 and valid for three years, is extendable up to a total of eight years, subject to Serbian mining regulations. The licensed area encompasses all land within the basin considered prospective for boron, including the territory directly adjoining and situated between Boron One’s 100% owned Piskanja Boron Project and the government-owned Pobrdje Boron Mine.

The Jarandol Basin is a recognized historical mining district in southern Serbia, known to host two existing boron deposits and an active coal mine. The region benefits from well-established mining infrastructure, including paved roads, rail access, power supply, and a skilled workforce, with support industries readily available. The area is located 250 kilometers south of Belgrade, accessible via all-season paved roads.

A prior drill program by Balkan Gold in the Jarandol Basin, conducted at a location midway between the Piskanja and Pobrdje deposits, resulted in borate occurrences across six exploratory drill holes. Three of these holes intersected borate occurrences that met the Company’s economic criteria for both grade and thickness. Furthermore, two of the six holes intersected a single boron layer of potential economic grade and thickness, while a third hole revealed two distinct prospective boron layers. Notable mineralized intervals from this program included an intersection of 1.88 meters averaging 41.33% B2O3, a second intersection of 1.3 meters averaging 41.88% B2O3, and a third intersection of 1.75 meters averaging 39.71% B2O3, as previously reported by the Company on December 22, 2015.

Boron One Holdings Inc. is focused on advancing the decarbonization of the planet through the responsible development of its boron assets in Serbia. The company is committed to environmental stewardship and aims to contribute to a cleaner global future. Boron One’s shares are traded on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol “BONE”.
