Toronto, Ontario — September 8, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Bold Ventures Inc. (TSXV: BOL) (OTCQB: BVLDF) announced results from diamond drilling at its Wilcorp Property earlier this year. The drilling targeted the Eagle Prospect and an induced polarization (I.P.) trend in the southern part of the property, located approximately 12 kilometers east of Atikokan, Ontario. Seven holes totaling 807 meters were completed.
Highlights from the drilling include the intersection of a mineralized quartz vein in hole WC-26-03 within the Eagle Prospect area, which returned an average of 3.96 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold over 2.28 meters, including a higher-grade interval of 11.4 g/t gold over 0.69 meters. The drilling also confirmed the presence of two separate gold zones at depth beneath the Eagle Prospect historical trenches.
Historical grab sampling in 2012 yielded a result of 14.4 g/t gold from the southern side of the trenches, while sampling in 2024 returned 16.3 g/t gold from the northern side. Available historical drillhole records indicated that only one gold zone was intersected beneath the trenches, stopping short of the northern zone, suggesting the northern mineralized vein and the general trend remain underexplored. Anomalous gold was also intersected approximately 100 meters across strike to the south-southeast of the trenches in the Eagle Prospect area.
Drilling in the southern part of the property, targeting a new copper-silver-gold showing and I.P. trend, did not intersect significant mineralization of the type identified on surface. The I.P. anomaly was attributed to pyrite and arsenopyrite mineralization in metasediments and metavolcanics. However, nickel and chromium anomalies were noted, including 0.04% nickel and 0.04% chromium over 9.0 meters from 19.0 meters in hole WC-26-01, potentially indicating the influence of a mafic intrusive mineralizing system.
Within the Eagle Prospect area, holes WC-26-03 to WC-26-07 were drilled. Three of these five holes intersected anomalous to high-grade gold mineralization. Hole WC-26-03 yielded the best results beneath the historical trenches, intersecting the northern zone with a quartz vein mineralized with pyrite, arsenopyrite, and chalcopyrite. This intersection returned 3.96 g/t gold over 2.28 meters, including 11.4 g/t gold over 0.69 meters. An additional anomaly of 1.64 g/t gold over 1.0 meters was also obtained from this hole. Hole WC-26-04 intersected the southern zone with results of 1.7 g/t gold over 2.15 meters and 1.53 g/t gold over 1.0 meters. Historical drillhole ASE-94-4 also appears to have intersected this southern zone with results of 1.8 g/t gold over 7.6 meters, but did not reach the northern zone.
Hole WC-26-07 intersected 1.06 g/t gold over 1.0 meters along a gold trend located approximately 100 meters south of the trenches. Hole WC-26-06 targeted this southern trend but yielded no significant gold results. Hole WC-26-05 targeted an I.P. anomaly northeast of the main trenches and also returned no significant results.
In a separate update, Bold Ventures highlighted the commencement of road construction to the Ring of Fire in Ontario, where the company holds mineral rights and a 10% carried interest in the Black Horse Chromite Deposit. Premier Doug Ford attended a groundbreaking ceremony on August 31st for the Marten Falls Community Access Road, and provincial officials marked the start of road work at the southern gateway to the Ring of Fire on August 24th. These projects are expected to advance Ring of Fire projects towards realization and bolster economic self-reliance.
Core samples were processed at Activation Laboratories in Thunder Bay, an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. Quality assurance and quality control protocols included the insertion of blank and standard certified reference materials and duplicate analysis. Technical information was reviewed by Coleman Robertson, B.Sc., P. Geo., the Company’s V.P. Exploration and a qualified person.
Bold Ventures explores for precious, battery, and critical metals in Canada, focusing on properties in the Thunder Bay and Wawa regions of Ontario, as well as assets within the Ring of Fire region. The company’s target commodities include copper, nickel, lead, zinc, gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and chromium.
