Kott brings over 35 years of experience in international capital markets, corporate finance, and fundraising to Avicanna. He is the Founder and CEO of CM-Equity AG, which he transitioned into a global single-family office focused on long-term value creation in 2025. Kott has a track record serving on public and private company boards, with expertise in governance, compliance, capital markets transactions, IPOs, and cross-border investments.
He is an active independent investor across public equities, venture capital, and alternative assets, with experience spanning biopharma and longevity, technology, cleantech, and sustainability.
Kott expressed his enthusiasm for joining Avicanna’s board, citing the company’s position in the “evidenced based natural pharmaceuticals megatrend” and its potential for significant impact. He also noted the recent communications from the White House regarding potential cannabis reclassification in the U.S. as a factor in his optimism about the company’s future. As a long-term shareholder, Kott stated his confidence in Avicanna’s management team and vision.
