VANCOUVER, BC — January 12, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Apex Critical Metals Corp. (CSE:APXC)(OTCQX:APXCF)(FWB:KL9) has secured Boart Longyear as the drilling contractor for its Rift Rare Earth Project in Nebraska. Apex is a Canadian mineral exploration company.
Boart Longyear, a global drilling services provider, will complete approximately 8,000 meters across 10-15 drillholes at the Elk Creek Carbonatite Complex. Permitting is finalized, and drilling is expected to commence before the end of the month.
Apex CEO Sean Charland said the company is rapidly advancing towards its first phase of drilling with the support of Dahrouge Geological Consulting and Boart Longyear. The company will aim to verify and expand on rare earth mineralization.
The Rift Project covers approximately 3,500 acres within the Elk Creek Carbonatite Complex. Previous operators, including Molycorp (1973-1986) and Quantum Rare Earth Developments (2010-2011), reported high-grade REE mineralized intervals.
Historical programs reported:
- 155.5 meters of 2.70% REO, including 54.9 m at 3.30% REO (EC-93).
- 236.2 m of 2.10% REO, including 68.2 m of 3.32% REO (NEC11-004).
Nathan Schmidt, P. Geo., a Qualified Person under NI 43-101, reviewed and approved the technical content of the release. Schmidt is a Geologist with Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd.
Apex Critical Metals Corp. is focused on advancing rare earth element (REE) and niobium projects in the United States and Canada.
