Amex Exploration (TSXV:AMX) Provides Update on Bulk Sampling Program and Feasibility Study

Montréal, Québec — January 15, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Amex Exploration Inc. (TSXV: AMX) (FSE: MX0) (OTCQX: AMXEF) is advancing its planned bulk sampling program and Phase 1 Feasibility Study (FS) based on a custom processing scenario.

Amex submitted the permit application for the bulk sampling program in September 2025 and expects to begin bulk sampling activities in the first half of 2026, pending permits and regulatory approvals.

Request for quotation are progressing well, especially those with long lead times.

Meetings have taken place with service providers, and advanced discussions are underway for processing mineralized material at nearby facilities in the Abitibi region.

Detailed plans for the portal, ramp, development, and work sites have been finalized and are expected to be used for Phase 1 mining.

Underground bulk sampling will validate assumptions, provide additional technical information (geology, mining), and develop the Perron project prudently.

A short video of the proposed surface infrastructure for bulk sampling and selected extraction sites is available.

Evomine, a Quebec-based engineering consulting firm, was mandated by Amex to carry out the detailed technical design of the planned bulk sampling and to lead the Phase 1 feasibility study. This integrated approach will generate significant synergies between the bulk sampling program and the Phase 1 development scenario.

In December 2025, a 120-kilogram composite of mineralized material from the Champagne Zone was sent to a metallurgical laboratory as part of this feasibility study. These tests are designed to deepen the metallurgical knowledge of the area and verify compatibility with the processing schemes of local plants located around the Perron project.

The Phase 1 Feasibility Study is expected to be completed and published by the end of the first quarter of 2026 and will account for current market conditions, including the recent rise in the price of gold, which should positively impact project profitability. The study is intended to serve as a reference document to support decisions regarding permitting and future project development. Based on current timelines and progress, Amex continues to target a potential project start-up in 2028.

Amex continues to strategically advance the Perron project, positioning the company to capitalize on favorable gold market trends and create shareholder value.

Stephen Coates, Professional Engineer, has reviewed and approved the scientific and technical information in this release.

Amex Exploration Inc. has made high-grade gold discoveries, as well as copper-rich volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) zones, at its 100% owned Perron gold project, located approximately 110 kilometers north of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. The Perron project consists of 183 contiguous claims, for an area of 65.75 km². The project hosts both high-tonnage and high-grade gold mineralization.

Combined with the adjacent and contiguous Perron West, Abbotsford and Hepburn projects (including additional concessions acquired by staking) in Ontario, the consolidated land portfolio covers an area of 501.08 km². This vast property is located in a very promising geological area, conducive to high-grade gold mineralization and VMS mineralization.

The project benefits from excellent infrastructure: accessible by a year-round road, it is located only 30 minutes from an airport and approximately 6.5 km from the town of Normétal. It is also located near several processing plants owned by major gold producers.
