Montréal, Canada — February 19, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Air Canada and Pegasus Airlines have established a new partnership to provide travelers with more convenient access to destinations in Türkiye. The interline agreement enables Air Canada customers to book travel on nine routes operated by Pegasus, offering connections via European gateways to Istanbul and Izmir.
Mary-Jane Lorette, Vice President at Air Canada, said the partnership expands the airline’s reach into Türkiye, providing customers with more ways to explore the region. Onur Dedeköylü, Chief Commercial Officer at Pegasus Airlines, said the agreement will enhance flexibility and ease of travel.
The partnership allows travelers flying to Air Canada’s European gateways, including Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Munich, Geneva, Vienna, Zurich, and Athens, to connect to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, and from Frankfurt to İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport. Customers will also benefit from a single itinerary and through-checked baggage.
Air Canada and Pegasus Airlines are considering expanding the partnership into a full codeshare in the future, which would include reciprocal loyalty program benefits and cooperation across their international networks.

Established in 1990 and later acquired by ESAS Holding in 2005, Pegasus Airlines operates a low-cost airline business model. Pegasus’ network extends to 158 destinations in 55 countries, spanning 39 domestic and 119 international routes. It operates through its primary hub at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
