TONOPAH, Nev. — January 13, 2026 — Leads & Copy — A2Gold Corp. (TSXV: AUAU) (OTCQX: AUXXF) has reported assay results from three core drill holes at its Eastside Gold–Silver Project near Tonopah, Nevada. The results demonstrate the scale, continuity, and resource growth potential of the Eastside mineral system.
The company is finalizing targets for its 18,000-metre RC drill program, set to begin around January 19.
Drilling highlights include:
- Hole ES-331: 2.9 g/t Au and 9.8 g/t Ag over 20 metres, including 4.9 g/t Au and 12.1 g/t Ag over 10.7 metres. Also, 2.3 g/t Au and 6.3 g/t Ag over 4.6 metres, and 3.2 g/t Au over 4.6 metres.
- Hole ES-337: 1.9 g/t Au over 3.0 metres.
- Hole ES-338: 1.14 g/t Au and 16.3 g/t Ag over 16.8 metres, including 5.0 g/t Au and 26.4 g/t Ag over 3.1 metres.
Mineralization was extended to 480 metres vertical depth, 70 metres deeper than the 2021 program, with 3.25 g/t Au and 3.37 g/t Ag over 4.6m ending at 478m from surface.
The drill holes tested mineralization continuity and grade distribution within the Eastside structural corridor. The results support the company’s strategy of resource expansion through systematic in-fill and step-out drilling.
CEO of A2Gold, Peter Gianulis, stated that the drill results represent an important step in demonstrating the scale and quality of the Eastside system, testing the vertical extensions beyond the 2021 drill program. He noted that Hole ES-331 deepened known mineralization by 70 metres. Gianulis added that the company continues to see strong gold and silver mineralization across multiple zones, with thicknesses and grades supportive of future resource growth. These results will be a key input into the company’s upcoming NI 43-101 mineral resource update expected in early 2026 and have significantly improved the company’s confidence as it finalizes targets for its upcoming 18,000-metre RC drill program scheduled to commence around January 19, 2026.
The upcoming RC program will focus on in-fill drilling at McIntosh and Castle to connect and strengthen existing sub-zones, step-out drilling to expand the mineralized footprint, and testing high-priority exploration targets generated from the company’s geophysics program.
All drill core samples were logged, split, and transported to American Assay Labs in Sparks, Nevada. Gold analyses were completed using standard fire assay with atomic absorption finish, with samples returning over 10 g/t Au re-assayed using gravimetric methods. Silver and multi-element analyses were completed using ICP methods. A quality assurance and quality control program was employed, including the insertion of certified reference materials, blanks, and field duplicates.
Andy Wallace, a Certified Professional Geologist and Qualified Person under NI 43-101, has reviewed and approved the scientific and technical content of this press release.
The Eastside Gold-Silver Project is located in Esmeralda County, Nevada, and hosts an inferred resource of 1.4 million ounces of gold and 8.8 million ounces of silver. Eastside covers a 92 km² land package that includes multiple high-priority zones such as McIntosh, Castle, and other exploration targets.
A2Gold Corp. owns three gold projects in Nevada. The Eastside Gold-Silver Project hosts a large gold and silver resource and is in an area of excellent infrastructure. Preliminary metallurgical testing indicates that both oxide and sulphide gold mineralization at Eastside is amenable to heap leaching.
