A2Gold Corp. (TSXV: AUAU) (OTCQX: AUXXF) announced that its common shares have started trading on the Börse Frankfurt under the ticker RR7, ISIN: CA0500591049. This provides a euro-denominated access point for European investors, according to a recent press release. The Company will continue to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) under AUAU and on the OTC market under AUXXF.
Peter Gianulis, CEO of A2Gold, stated that the Börse Frankfurt listing is a pivotal milestone in A2Gold’s global capital markets strategy, aimed at unlocking significant shareholder value. Frankfurt, one of the world’s largest and most efficient trading venues, offers immediate access to a vast network of institutional and retail investors across the European Union, he said.
Gianulis said this dual-listing structure significantly enhances the Company’s global visibility and liquidity by bridging the gap between North American and European markets. By facilitating Euro-denominated trading during local market hours, A2Gold is eliminating currency barriers and streamlining access for a sophisticated investment community that has historically demonstrated a robust appetite for North American precious metals stories, he said.
The Company has granted 565,000 stock options to directors, officers, and consultants, exercisable at $0.85, vesting over one year, and expiring five years from the grant date. Additionally, 1,120,000 restricted stock units (RSUs) were granted, vesting over two years and expiring on December 31, 2029.
